Hello! I just (December, 2020) completed my PhD at the University of Zurich (UZH), Switzerland.
I've built a Blockchain Signaling System (BloSS) to perform a collaborative signaling of DDoS attacks.
The system was built in a cluster of ASUS Tinkerboard devices simulating three different (SDN-based) autonomous systems.
I joined the Communication Systems Group (CSG) in September 2016 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Burkhard Stiller. As described above, my thesis proposed a collaborative DDoS signaling system based on a blockchain platform and there were many other (direct and indirectly related) contributions were documented over 40 publications during the thesis period (2016 - 2020).
Previously, I completed my MSc degree in August 2016 at the Escola Politécnica (EP) of the University of São Paulo (USP). At USP, I worked under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tereza Cristina Melo de Brito Carvalho in two research projects held in partnership with Ericsson Research, which resulted in over 10 publications and 3 granted patents. My contributions during those two years are summarized in my MSc dissertation (termed GreenSDN), which is available here.
